Candy Corn Butterfinger Bites |
I have heard about turning leftover Candy Corn into homemade Butterfinger candy for years and finally decided to try it this year since I had so much left over Candy Corn from Halloween. Three ingredients and it’s so simple the kids will love making them with you. Best of all – no baking and a great way to use up the left over Candy Corn.
Ingredients:
1 lb. candy corn (approximately 2 cups)
16 oz jar of any brand smooth peanut butter (not Chunky)
12 oz pkg. chocolate candy coating (I use milk chocolate but dark works too). You can find this at craft stores such as Michael’s or JoAnn’s.
You will also need:
Large 4-cup glass bowl
Parchment paper
Wax Paper
Directions:
Note: To melt the chocolate wafers simply use the same large glass bowl you used before (cleaned out of course!). Microwave the chocolate on high for 1 minute and stir. Then microwave for 30 second intervals stirring each time until fully melted.
I am amazed at how easy this is to make and encourage everyone (even those of you who don’t bake!) to try this recipe.

- Melt candy corn in a large glass bowl in the microwave on high 1 minute.
- Stir and continue cooking in 15-second intervals stirring each time until completely melted.
- Stir in peanut butter and mix thoroughly. You may need to microwave again for 15 seconds to get the peanut butter soft.
- Spread mixture in an 8x8 pan lined with parchment paper. Cool completely. Cut into squares. Dip in melted chocolate candy coating. Lay on waxed paper to set.
